Oberammergau Passion Play 2010

Plans are being made to attend the 2010 Oberammergau Passion Play with members and friends of St. Mark. The 13 day tour, hosted by Pastors Alan and Phyllis and guided by our friend, Uli Buschmann, will depart Tampa on June 29 and focus on Bavaria, Germany (including Munich and the Black Forest) and will also include visits to Austria (Innsbruck, Hallein, and Salzburg) and France’s Alsace region.

Our highlight will be the world-renowned Passion Play, performed every ten years since 1632 in fulfillment of a vow made by the town for their deliverance from the Plague. The Play includes over 2000 performers, musicians and technicians, all from the town of Oberammergau. Our group is privileged to hold 40 category 1 tickets.
