Members of the St. Mark chapter of WELCA (Women of the ELCA) meet together on the first and fourth Tuesdays of the month at 9:30 am in the Social Hall. Refreshments are served and all members of the congregation are welcome. On the first Tuesday of the month they usually invite a guest speaker while the second Tuesday meeting is generally dedicated to Christian service. Their ongoing projects include putting together layette packs for distribution to needy families by the Salvation Army, collecting Box Tops for Education and collecting used cell phones to donate to spouse abuse shelters. They also sponsor the annual "Dress a Bear" teddy bear drive at Christmas time. See calendar for schedule.
